After your domain passes the review by the Kerjamail team, the domain will receive an email approval and your current position is in step 4.

Although you can’t use Kerjamail to send emails yet, you need to first perform pointing or DNS Mapping.

In this guide, we use Cloudflare as the DNS Manager. If you’re using a different DNS Manager, please adjust accordingly.

To do this, please follow these steps:

MX Record

Open your DNS Manager. Then add a new record with the following specifications:

  • Type : MX.
  • Name : @ .
  • Mailserver : Copy from the Kerjamail dashboard in the Value column.
  • TTL : Auto.
  • Priority : 10.

Then click the Save button.

Once saved, go back to the Kerjamail dashboard and click the MX Lookup button to perform verification.

If successful, a checkmark will appear in the status column.

he pointing process for MX is complete. Continue to pointing CNAME 1.

CNAME 1

Open your DNS Manager. Then add a new record with the following specifications:

  • Type : CNAME.
  • Name : autodiscover.
  • Target : Copy from the Kerjamail dashboard in the Value column.
  • Proxy status : Off (DNS Only).
  • TTL : Auto.

Then click the Save button.

Once saved, go back to the Kerjamail dashboard and continue to pointing CNAME 2.

CNAME 2

Open your DNS Manager. Then add a new record with the following specifications:

  • Type : CNAME.
  • Name : autoconfig.
  • Target : Copy from the Kerjamail dashboard in the Value column.
  • Proxy status : Off (DNS Only).
  • TTL : Auto.

Then click the Save button.

Once saved, go back to the Kerjamail dashboard and continue to pointing SPF.

SPF

Open your DNS Manager. Then add a new record with the following specifications:

  • Type : TXT.
  • Name : @.
  • Content : Copy from the Kerjamail dashboard in the Value column.
  • Proxy status : Off (DNS Only).
  • TTL : Auto.

Then click the Save button.

If there is already an SPF record in your DNS Manager, you can merge the SPF Value into that record. So you don’t need to create a new record.
To merge, you only input the “include:spf.kirim.email” part into the existing record. For example:
* Old SPF Record Value: : v=spf1 +a +mx include:spf.kerjamail.co ~all
* New SPF Record Value: : v=spf1 +a +mx include:spf.kerjamail.co include:spf.kirim.email ~all

Once saved, go back to the Kerjamail dashboard and click the Verify button.

If successful, the status will change from Unverified to Verified. Continue to pointing DKIM.

    DKIM

Before pointing DKIM, you need to enable DKIM first. To do this, click the Enable DKIM button.

If successful, the DKIM value will appear as in the following image:

Next, open your DNS Manager. Then add a new record with the following specifications:

    • Type : TXT.
    • Name : Copy-Paste from the Kerjamail dashboard in the Host column.
    • Content : Copy-Paste from the Kerjamail dashboard in the Value column.
    • Proxy status : Off (DNS Only).
    • TTL : Auto.

    Then click the Save button.

Then go back to the Kerjamail dashboard and click the Verify button. If successful, the status will change from Unverified to Verified and you will immediately move on to step 5.

    Finished.

Once the pointing process is complete, you need to go to the Managers menu to create a Member.
