The emails that are stored in the Kerjamail dashboard can be exported and imported (backed up and restored). To do so, kindly follow the steps below:
Exporting 1 email
- Log in to your Kerjamail inbox.
- Select one of the folders you want to export (backup) the email. In Kerjamail, there are 6 folders which include: Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Junk, Trash, and Archive.
- Select the email you want to backup.
- Click on the More menu.
- Click on the Export option.
- Then, the exported email will be downloaded right away in.eml format and stored on your device’s storage media.
- Finished.
Exporting multiple emails
- Log in to your Kerjamail inbox.
- Select one of the folders you want to export (backup) the emails. In Kerjamail, there are 6 folders which include: Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Junk, Trash, and Archive.
- Click the checkbox on the emails you want to back up.
- Click on the small triangle on the Forward menu.
- Select the Forward as attachment option.
- Then, you will go to the Compose page. Here enter the recipient’s email address, email’s subject, and your message. Make sure the email you want to backup is attached in .eml format.
- If you’re sure, click on the Send button.
- Next, open the recipient email and download any attachments there.
- Finished.

Importing email
To import / restore your e-mail, kindly follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Kerjamail inbox.
- Select one of the folders you will use to import (restore) emails. In Kerjamail, there are 6 folders including: Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Junk, Trash, and Archive.
- Click on the More menu.
- Click on the Import option.
- After that, click on the Browse button and then select your email backup file.
- Click on the Import button.
- Then, the imported emails will immediately appear in the folder you selected.
- Finished.
